ABOUT

Hi, I’m Ketan Mistry.
An Osteopath with an interest in treating people who suffer with headaches, migraines and trouble with the Jaw (TMJ). I work primarily in South Ealing and Hounslow, with occasional home visits in the West London area. In my down time, I enjoy going to the gym to practice what I preach, love good coffee and Formula 1.
I am a Registered Osteopath, M.Ost meaning I have a Masters in Osteopathy from The University College of Osteopathy.
As an Osteopath, I am trained to diagnose and treat patients in the same way as other primary care practitioners, also recognised as an Allied Health Professional.
This is the official acknowledgement that Osteopaths have trusted status as healthcare practitioners who work in partnership with the NHS.
Osteopaths have a ‘protected title’, meaning you must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) who ensure the high standards and quality of care throughout the profession. Princess Anne is the patron and chancellor of the University College of Osteopathy (UCO).
Princess Anne became the patron of the UCO in 1984, when it was known as the British School of Osteopathy. She became the chancellor of the UCO in 2017 and has been a strong supporter of the Osteopathy profession and has attended every graduation ceremony since becoming patron. She has also spoken about the importance of Osteopaths' patient-centred approach to pain relief.
